How the CE certification working and why we need it?

CE stands for " Communauté européenne " in French, which means "European Conformity" or "European Community". CE certification is limited to the basic safety requirements of products that do not endanger the safety of humans, animals, and goods, rather than general quality requirements. The coordination directive only specifies the main requirements, while the general directive requirements are standard tasks. Therefore, the accurate meaning is that the CE mark is a safety conformity mark rather than a quality conformity mark. It is the 'main requirement' that constitutes the core of European directives

EU law requires manufacturers located outside the 30 EEA member states to designate an EU authorized representative within the EU to ensure the consistency of product "safety" during circulation and use after being placed on the European market; Technical documents must be stored within the European Union for inspection by supervisory authorities at any time; Remedial measures must be taken for products that are found by market supervision agencies to be non-compliant with CE requirements, or for products that have been labeled with CE despite accidents during use. (For example, temporarily removing from shelves or permanently removing from the market); If a product model with a CE label is put on the European market and encounters changes or modifications in EU laws, subsequent products of the same model must also be modified or amended accordingly to comply with the new EU legal requirements.
